All of them are under-diagnosed, and an estimated 60-70% of the deadly Vascular EDS are undiagnosed entirely. For Rose, he’s fortunate enough to not have the Vascular EDS conditions, but has not avoided the symptoms of this ailment. At the age of 12, both of Shannon’s arms became paralyzed and he lost the use of his voice for a year.
